Overview

The MS (Nursing) program offers advanced study in a chosen clinical or educational specialization, building on undergraduate nursing training and Pakistan Nursing Council licensure with advanced practice theory, research methods, and health-systems leadership. The program follows HEC's Graduate Education Policy, combining coursework with a research thesis or project in the student's area of specialization. Students work closely with experienced nursing faculty on research projects addressing real clinical and health-systems questions, building the leadership and research competence needed for advanced practice. This research-oriented approach prepares graduates for roles as nurse educators, clinical specialists, or nursing administrators across Pakistan's expanding healthcare system.

Eligibility Criteria

  • BS (Nursing) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0, per HEC MS eligibility criteria
  • Valid nursing license/registration with the Pakistan Nursing Council
  • Passing MUST's admission test/interview as per current admission policy
