UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
BS (Operation Theater Technology)
Overview
The BS (Operation Theater Technology) program trains students in surgical instrumentation, sterilization protocols, and operating room management, preparing them to support surgical teams before, during, and after procedures. The curriculum combines physiology and microbiology coursework with HEC Allied Health Sciences-aligned clinical training across its eight-semester structure. Students train on real surgical instruments and sterilization systems in dedicated labs before advancing to extensive operating room clinical placements, gaining direct experience with the protocols that keep surgical procedures safe. This hands-on training prepares graduates for essential operation theater technologist roles within hospital surgical departments.
